We were waiting for a big announcement from Oculus this week at the Game Awards in LA and here it is. Although we still don’t have an exact date for the launch of the Rift, we did learn that Oculus has partnered with Harmonix and Rock Band to announce Rock Band VR. And to announce the launch, they made a great video with none other than DragonForce to kick it off.

Oculus CEO Palmer Luckey was seen in the video with an Oculus Touch controller wrapped around the headstock of his guitar.
Not really sure yet if this is seriously part of the gameplay experience or if older controllers work or if there will be a new guitar controller being released for the game, although we assume so. Luckey also stated that other titles which will be released along with the Rift in Q1 of 2016.
