SALT LAKE CITY, February 23 – Virtual Athletics League will host the fourth annual Virtual Reality Winter Games to bring VR game developers, content creators, and strong communities of fans together for a month-long action-packed event.
Starting on February 26 and running through March 20, VAL will present an array of virtual tournaments, fitness challenges, and creator talent shows with over 30 content creators from YouTube, Twitch, and TikTok for 12 popular VR titles. Through these events, participants and creators will explore opportunities to win cash prizes, Oculus Quest 2’s and store credit to the VAL-owned online VR game store, One Arena.
Concluding the 2022 Winter Games in March, there will also be a series of speakers and panels events broadcast across the VALVR esports YouTube channel. These events will feature developers from multiple small and large VR studios who will discuss topics regarding motion sickness in VR, the next evolution in rhythm games, fitness in virtual reality, and community building.
